Purpose

To import custom device templates from Device Creator.

To import synoptic maps from Layout Editor.

Exports system setup data to prepare specific synoptic maps for the site.

Notification rules created with Rule Editor can only be imported for compatibility with previous versions.

Description

Files to be imported must already reside in PlantVisorPRO. Files to be exported can be saved in any folder.

What it does

Exports site configuration (SITE.zip)

To let Layout Editor design maps and Rule Editor (previous versions only) set rules based on site devices.

Saves the entire system setup in a Site.zip file with descriptive data on each device in the installation language.

Layout Editor needs the system configuration to extract variables that can be linked to a graphic object from the database, eliminating any possibility of error (i.e.: ON/OFF variables for Switch objects, alarm variables for alarm LED objects, etc.).

Rule Editor needs the system configuration to create logic/mathematical expressions based on updated system variables.

Delete device template

To delete an obsolete custom device template.

Before deleting a custom device template, remove all of that template's devices from the configuration.

Log out after deleting.

New custom templates imported from Device Creator overwrite all installed custom templates.

Deletes the device template from the list of templates used in the configuration.

Imports a device template from Device Creator

To add a custom device template to the device template list.

Imported templates overwrite any other installed custom templates.

The created custom template contains its descriptive data (i.e.: name, image) useful to monitoring pages and all variables/parameters.

Imports maps from Layout Editor

To add synoptic maps.

Layout Editor can be opened from PlantVisorPRO Shell.

Imported maps overwrite any installed maps.

Synoptic maps can be viewed in the PLANT menu.

Changing the logo in the heading (*)

To customize the product.

Required size: 380x37 pixel

To customize the product.

Required size: 608x414 pixel

Click to confirm.

To change the product name in the login page, open the Information page, Site information section, Name text box.

(*) Other more complex customizations, reserved to expert programmers, include writing code to communicate with the API, provided by PlantVisorPRO SDK.
