Actions: print the alarm and/or display the alarm window

Purpose

Enable/disable alarm printout.

Enable/disable dedicated alarm window display.

Description

When the alarm conditions indicated in the rule occur (at least one of the variables is in alarm conditions), a detail row will be printed for each alarm that occurred and/or an alarm window will be displayed accompanied by a sound (if enabled).

What to do next

Select the printer where alarm messages are to be printed and enable it (see I/O peripheral setup: printers).

To add a sound when the alarm window is displayed, go to the I/O ConfigurationWindow.

All alarm reports are saved in alarm reports.
