Edit the multilingual device description Enable/disable device alarm and event activities. |

To fully disable a device, see chapter Line detail. To disable single device alarms, see chapter Device setup: alarm variables. A device with alarm and event activities disabled continues to operate as usual. |
Action
Select Disable the device: all notification activities for actions caused by device alarms and events are disabled.
Edit the description in the language chosen at logon (default).
Edit the description in English.
